Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions — Routes
Are prices the same in both directions on a route?
Yes. Whether you are travelling from Glasgow or returning to it, the fixed price for a given route and vehicle class is the same in both directions.
Can I book a return journey covering both directions?
Yes. Booking both legs together at the time of reservation is usually simplest and often qualifies for a preferential combined rate.
Do you cover routes not listed here?
Yes. If your destination is not shown, contact us directly and we will confirm availability and a fixed price for your specific journey.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 24 hours ahead where possible, though we do our best to accommodate short-notice and same-day requests subject to availability. For our longer Highland and island routes, earlier booking is strongly advised.
Is the vehicle the same standard on every route?
Yes. Every route offers the same choice of Executive Saloon, Luxury Saloon, and Executive MPV, all maintained to the same premium standard regardless of distance.
What happens if my journey takes longer than expected due to traffic?
Your price is fixed at booking regardless of traffic conditions encountered on the day, so unexpected delays never result in an additional charge.
Are the longer Highland and island routes suitable for a same-day return?
For Inverness and Fort William, a same-day return is possible with early planning. For the Isle of Skye specifically, we generally recommend a one-way transfer with onward accommodation or a multi-day touring arrangement given the distance involved.
